Reading Champion is a motivational, easy-to-use App to help young, struggling readers improve their reading skills and increases their reading enjoyment. The App is designed to boost a child’s reading ability in school or at home, independently or alongside an adult with passages to suit all abilities and interests.
Reading Champion allows children to:
- Listen to a passage being read aloud using text-to-speech with highlighting
- Record themselves reading the passage aloud
- Look up any unfamiliar words using the dictionary
- Listen to their own recording and re-record as desired
- Mark their own progress by selecting words they found difficult
Gold, silver and bronze medals are awarded as the child progresses. Children and their parents can access progress charts to see the improvement that they have made.
