A sixth form student at Sibford School has completed an ultra marathon in aid of cystic fibrosis.
Dominic Mills completed the 36 mile run and raised more than £1,913 for charity, with the total still rising.
“One of my friends at Sibford suffers from cystic fibrosis and I wanted to help others who suffer from it too,” commented Dominic.
“The run took me six and a half hours so I ended up finishing just as it got dark which made it very special.”
Dominic’s ultra-marathon involved 2,609 feet of elevation.
“It was tough, especially on the big hills, but I only had to stop once, at the halfway point to refill drinks. Other than that, I ran or walked all the way.”
