Port Regis School has announced the arrival of Stephen Ilett as the new Headmaster. Stephen takes up his post at the school this term having previously been Headmaster of Milbourne Lodge in Surrey for the past five years.
Prior to that, he taught at a Prep school in Buckinghamshire following a career in the City at Lloyd’s of London. He read Modern History at Lincoln College, Oxford, and played rugby for the University’s 1st XV.
Mr Ilett said: “I am immensely proud to be at the helm of such a great school and am very much looking forward to working with the staff here in the next chapter of our history. No one who visits Port Regis could fail to be impressed by the extraordinary character of the school, and the breadth and depth of opportunities on offer. My wife Amanda and I are thrilled to be here and very much look forward to getting to know staff, parents and pupils alike.”
Port Regis is a co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 3-13 years. Located in Motcombe Park, Shafesbury in over 150 acres of beautiful Dorset countryside, the school provides the perfect environment in which boys and girls can flourish and enjoy their education.
