Brentwood School has announced the appointment of a new Head of Sixth Form. Miss Anna Feldman, currently Assistant Director of Sixth Form at Forest School in Snaresbrook, will take up her post in June 2015.
Miss Feldman, who has responsibility for Forest School’s Higher Education provision which also extends students academically outside of the classroom, graduated with a First from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in Combined Honours in Mathematics and Statistics with Psychology in 2009.
Miss Feldman is also keen to develop good relationships with alumni, parents and the local community, and encourage current students to make the most of the opportunities and networks available to them when they choose their next steps.
Speaking of her appointment, she said she was excited to be part of such a supportive and welcoming environment and keen to use her experience to further enhance the ethos of Brentwood School’s Sixth Form; to enable students to really enjoy what they are studying, so that learning becomes a passion that lasts a lifetime.
She went on to say that the School’s offering of the International Baccalaureate gives further flexibility to students and allows each individual to thrive in what they’re best at.
