New Hall School, a leading Catholic independent boarding and day school in Chelmsford, has earned a place in The Good Schools Guide. The Guide contains independent reviews which are relied upon by parents for their unbiased analysis of exceptional state and fee-paying schools.
New Hall School was visited by an independent Good Schools Guide reviewer earlier this year. Their inspection was summarised in the following words: “There is the feeling that New Hall is much more than the sum of its parts, with personal qualities and integrity as central to the ethos as an application to study and success.”
Of its academic achievements, the review noted that New Hall “Has significantly out-performed all other UK co-ed independent Catholic schools at A level for the past four years” and noted that, “Personal qualities, kindness in particular, are recognised and drawn out, and pupils we met were certainly happy in their own skin.”
Katherine Jeffrey, Principal of New Hall School said, “We are delighted to have earned a place in The Good Schools Guide. The recognition of such a respected and influential panel of parents, former teachers and editors is invaluable and we feel that the reviewer completely understood and depicted the spirit of our school.”
