Beech Hall School was recently awash with talent as gifted performers delighted an audience during an exceptional evening of music. Family, friends, pupils and teachers all gathered together at the Tytherington-based school for the annual Musical Soirée.
Budding young musicians including singers, guitarists, pianists and violinists, took to the stage to perform renditions of both well-known songs and traditional music, each highly-commended with a rapturous round of applause. A particular highlight of the magical evening was a sensational performance from the lower senior band, the self-named ‘The Atomics’.
During the interval, guests were welcomed into the school dining room to enjoy refreshments and canapés in preparation for the second half. Beech Hall School alumnus and guitarist, Sam Timson, concluded the evening as he performed alongside his band.
Headmaster James Allen commented: “The Musical Soirée was once again a brilliantly uplifting evening which was everything that it supposed to be – relaxed, and a huge sense of fun and achievement.
“I am exceptionally proud of our performers, including both current and past pupils, each of whom demonstrated remarkable progress as a result of dedication and commitment to their instrument.”
