Further National Hockey Success for Felsted School

It’s another double triumph for Felsted School’s hockey teams as the U19 girls are through to the Independent Schools Hockey Cup (ISHC) national semi-finals and the U14 boys are crowned Essex Champions.

The Felsted U19 girls beat Queen Ethelburga’s School (3-2) in a close quarter-final match of the ISHC. This sees them join the U15 girls as Felsted’s second hockey national semi-finalists of the season.

Director of Felsted Girls’ Hockey, Ms Loren Sherer commented: “The professionalism and team spirit shown by the girls was absolutely outstanding and we look forward to seeing who they will face in the national semi-final.”

Meanwhile, the Felsted U14 boys conceded just one goal across four games in the Essex Cup. They beat Forest (2-1), Cooper’s (3-0) and drew with Chigwell and Bancroft (0-0) to secure their place in the East Regional Round on 23rd February on goal difference.

The U14 boys are the sixth Felsted hockey team to claim the county title this season, joining the U16 boys and the U11, U13, U14 and U16 girls’ teams.
